High Resolution Screens
Avionics displays from Intellisense support a wide range of industry standard resolutions up to 4K. They utilize modern, high-resolution active-matrix liquid-crystal displays with wide color gamut and high contrast to ensure the clarity of information to operators.
Ruggedized to MIL-STD and DO-160
All avionics displays from Intellisense are ruggedized and hardened for the most demanding rotorcraft and fixed-wing applications including MIL-STD-810, -461, -704, and DO-160 qualification testing. They are suitable for both rotary and fixed wing platforms and are designed to work in every condition for military and commercial customers.
Industry Standard Interfaces
Our avionics displays support compatibility with numerous industry standard interfaces that may include SMPTE-424M, DVI-D, ARINC-818, RS-170, NTSC for video. Signal and networking interfaces may include MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429, ARINC-825 CAN bus, RS-232 JTAG, RS-422, Ethernet, and USB.
Customizable Bezel
Displays from Intellisense can be configured with a customizable bezel tailored to meet customer needs. This includes multifunction buttons, rocker switches, rotary knobs, ambient light sensors, and inclinometers
Safety Certified up to DAL A
Design Assurance Level A (DAL A) is the highest level of design assurance that can be applied to airborne electronic hardware (AEH) and software. Intellisense avionics displays are certified up to DAL A to meet customer needs.
Sunlight Readable
Intellisense avionics displays are sunlight readable with a backlight luminance rated at greater than 300 feet-lamberts. They also feature a wide color gamut up to 8-bit, ensuring no color pixel information from sensors is lost.
NVIS-Compatible
The screens and bezels on Intellisense’s avionics displays include selectable day/night backlights with MIL-STD-3009 and MIL-L-85762A compliance for NVG compatibility during nighttime operations.
Multitouch Screen Technology
Avionics displays from Intellisense can incorporate resistive multitouch screen (RMTS) and projected capacitive (PCAP) touch screen technologies and gesture recognition to improve the ease-of-use for pilots and operators.
vFusion
The next great innovation in advanced graphical processing platforms, vFusion enables operators to combine 2-4 video inputs onto one screen. Users can combine indicators, radar, and live video onto one display, saving space, weight, and processing power.
Graphics Processing
Avionics displays from Intellisense are equipped with multi-core processing capabilities with a vast array of graphics performance options. These include quad head graphics processing units and software based rendering engines. They are available for both new-build and retrofit programs.
