The C500 is a commercial variant of the proven Micro Weather Sensor (MWS?) that was originally developed for the demands of the U.S. military and has been deployed in over 60 countries across all 7 continents. The C500 features a cellular modem to connect to existing LTE-M infrastructure and is a true all-in-one weather sensor that integrates 12 sensors into a single, rugged 3.2-pound unit. All the processing, communications, and solar power capabilities required to autonomously send readings are contained in one compact package.

The C500 does not need wires or external devices, enabling it to be set up and start transmitting in less than 60 seconds. The data it collects and transmits include temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, wind speed and direction, angular tilt, dust accumulation, lightning distance, compass reading, precipitation amount, present weather, GPS location, visibility, and 360? panoramic imagery.
