Intellisense Featured on Torrance Cable News for Its Firefighting Initiatives

In their Torrance Cares segment, Torrance CitiCABLE News featured Intellisense’s latest initiatives to help Cal Fire combat the wildfires that have ravaged the Western United States in 2020.

In a recent newsletter, Intellisense shared its efforts to help combat the historic wildfires that have affected millions of residents across California, Oregon, and Washington. These initiatives include a case study where Intellisense loaned five units of its proven Micro Weather Station (MWS®) to collect key fire weather data in remote areas. It also described a recent partnership with FTS to transmit data gathered by the MWS with the innovative FTS360 software suite.

When Torrance CitiCABLE caught wind of these efforts to help first responders fight wildfires, they featured Intellisense on their daily news broadcast. In their Torrance Cares segment, they described these initiatives to deliver key fire weather data with the MWS.

After this news item aired, Intellisense announced its recent Phase II funding award to continue development of the Fire Weather Observation Sensor (FWOS). These are just the latest efforts to help protect property and keep residents and firefighters safe in the event of another intense forest fire.
