Intellisense Systems Returns to the Office After Hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

With most of the staff now fully vaccinated and the State of California relaxing nearly all COVID-19 protocols, our offices reopened with a celebratory gathering.

On June 14th, Intellisense Systems officially welcomed back employees to its offices in Torrance, California. With the State of California relaxing many of the safety protocols in light of declining COVID-19 cases and the wider availability of vaccinations, Intellisense reopened its headquarters to all members of its engineering, manufacturing, and administrative staff. The company commemorated the occasion with an outdoor gathering with free ice cream and Intellisense merchandise, including water bottles and hand sanitizer.

Even before the official “welcome back” to the office, Intellisense Systems remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As an Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce for the U.S. Military, the company fulfilled vital production needs and contractual obligations for both military and commercial customers. But to stop the spread of the coronavirus, most of the company’s staff either worked remotely or followed CDC guidelines once inside the office. Social distancing and masks were mandatory, and the company preemptively stocked supplies to minimize any production delivery impacts related to the pandemic. Throughout all of 2020 and 2021 so far, there have been zero cases of COVID-19 transmission at the Intellisense offices.

To ensure a safe return to headquarters, Intellisense hosted two COVID-19 vaccination clinics April and May 2021. Through a partnership with Albertsons Pharmacy, the clinic was open to all employees and their families. Both doses of the vaccine were administered at each of these clinics, and now most of the staff is fully vaccinated.

With much of the economy reopened, Intellisense looks forward to welcoming clients and other visitors to its offices again. We are also happy to be participating in several upcoming tradeshows and expositions, including Sea Air Space 2021, the Air, Space and Cyber Conference, and the AUSA Annual Meeting and Expo.

We are grateful to everyone who participated in getting their COVID-19 vaccinations to ensure a safe return to the office. We also wanted to thank our pharmacy partners for helping protect our employees and their loved ones.
