MesoWest is a cooperative project that began in 1997 to provide current and archived weather observations across the United States. Its observations include temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation. This service gathers and disseminates data collected by Intellisense’s Micro Weather Stations to assess fire weather risk in the western U.S.
